Who we are

Mugsy PR (also trading as Mugsy PR & Studios) is a public relations and creative agency based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through mugsypr.com and its subdomains, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@mugsypr.com.

Information you give us

You can read this site without telling us anything. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it, which happens in two ways:

• Email. When you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you put in the message.
• Forms. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, the brand or company you represent, what you are looking for, when you want to start, and a message, with your phone number and website as optional extras. Forms on our other pages, such as dev.mugsypr.com, ask for your name, email address, phone number, and a message.

We use this information to reply to you and to follow up about working together. If you tell us you are not interested, we stop.

Information collected automatically

This site runs no advertising trackers. Three things do happen in the background:

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site: which pages are visited, how long people stay, what kind of device and browser they use, roughly where they are (city level), and which site or search sent them here. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognize return visits. It does not receive anything you type into our contact form; we only record that a form was sent. We use these reports to improve the site and do not use them to identify you. Google describes how it handles this data in its explanation of how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records standard technical details of each visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are not combined with anything you send us through a form.
• Fonts. The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, and Google receives your IP address in that request. Google describes how it handles this in its privacy policy.

The contact form on this site sends what you type to the automation service we use to route it, which delivers it to our inbox. Forms on our other pages are served by Tally, which processes what you type under its own privacy policy before passing it to us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the agency: our hosting provider, the form service named above, and the automation and database tools that route and store form submissions so we can act on them. Each of them may process your information only on our behalf.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Mugsy PR, our clients, or others.

How long we keep it

We keep what you send us for as long as we are in conversation, and afterwards only as long as we need it for our records or as the law requires. You can ask us to delete it at any time; see the next section.

Your choices

• Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
• Access, correction and deletion. Email info@mugsypr.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not need a reason, and we honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live.
• Marketing. If we ever send you a marketing email, it will carry an unsubscribe link. Replying with “unsubscribe” works too.
• Fonts. If you would rather your browser did not contact Google, most browsers and content blockers can stop third-party font requests. The site remains fully readable in your system font.

Children

This site is for businesses and the people who run them. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting who at Mugsy PR can see it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take it seriously.

Links to other sites

This site links to our clients, to press coverage, and to social networks. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
